In the Summer of 2009 St. John's University with the help of Student Sustainability Coordinators built a student run community garden. It was further expanded in the Sumemr of 2010. It is maintained by Sustainability Coordinators and members of Earth Club, but all students are encouraged to get involved. All produce harvested is donated to St. John's Bread and Life.
