Campus Conservation Nationals

From April 1 - 26 2013 St. John's is participating in Campus Conservation Nationals. CCN is a nationwide electricity and water use reduction competition among universities across the nation. This competition was created by The Center for Green Schools of the U.S. Green Building Council through it's Sutdents Program partnered with Lucid, Allicance to Save Energy and the National Wildlife Federation. 

 

St. John’s joined the ranks of more than 100 universities and colleges nationwide that are currently registered for this exciting program. To learn more about the competition, join the network or follow leading schools, visit the Campus Conservation 2013 webpage here.

Last year, in 2012St. John's won first place in the Northeast Peer Group competion. The University also won 15 out of 97 in overall energy reduction. To view the results visit the CCN website.
