Transportation

In order to help lower St. John's Greenhouse Gas Emissions and uphold our partnership with Clean Air Campus, St. John's has made alternate forms of transportation available to all members of the St. John's community. St. John's encourages students and faculty to ride their bicycle to campus, and by placing bike racks around campus it is easier to safely store your bicycle.

For those students and faculty members who live too far to bike, you can either take public transportation or carpool with other students/faculty members who live in the same area. Also our Queens, Manhattan, and Staten Island campuses are easily accessible through various trains and buses. To see directions on how you can get to your St. John's campus visit the MTA Trip Planner website.

The  Peter Pan Shuttle Bus makes it easy to travel to off campus housing, local public transportation, and the Queens, Manhattan, and Staten Island campuses. The Peter Pan Shuttle Bus is three times as more efficient as automobiles, and replaces 55 automobiles on the road.

In addition to making our campuses accesible, we also made St John's Queens campus easier and safer for pedestrians to walk. We have eliminated roadways throughout campus, and created extra pathways to navigate campus.
