Dining Services

 

St. John's seeks to promote sustainability in all aspects, including dining services. 
In partnership with Chartwells, the university only purchases the following:

  • Locally farmed produce.
  • Sustainable fish species.
  • Certified humane/cage free eggs.
  • Antibiotic free chicken.
  • rBGH/rBST (growth hormone) free milk.
  • Compostable cutlery, and napkins.
  • Fair trade, organic, shade grown, rainforest alliance coffee.
