9/11 Memorial Quilt Exhibit

A Decade of Remembrance

In recognition of the Tenth Anniversary of 9/11 and in honor of the victims, St. John’s is hosting a series of commemorative events at our Staten Island campus. Event activities taking place September 10th through 12th, is open and free to the public. Co-sponsoring the weekend of events with St. John's are The Joseph Maffeo Foundation and Where To Turn. In cooperation and partnership with United in Memory, we will be showcasing The 9/11 Victims Memorial Quilt, a traveling exhibit memorializing every victim in the World Trade Center Buildings, at the Pentagon, on the planes of American and United Airlines, including those aboard Flight 93 that crashed in Shanksville, PA. Experience this poignant and impacting event by joining our students and faculty at our Staten Island campus as we pay tribute to those who lost their lives on that tragic day.
