A Decade of
Remembrance
In recognition of the Tenth Anniversary of 9/11
and in honor of the victims, St. John’s is hosting a series of
commemorative events at our Staten Island campus. Event activities
taking place September 10th through 12th, is open and free to the
public. Co-sponsoring the weekend of events with St. John's are
The Joseph Maffeo Foundation and Where To Turn. In cooperation
and partnership with United in
Memory, we will be showcasing The 9/11 Victims Memorial
Quilt, a traveling exhibit memorializing every victim in the
World Trade Center Buildings, at the Pentagon, on the planes of
American and United Airlines, including those aboard Flight 93 that
crashed in Shanksville, PA. Experience this poignant and impacting
event by joining our students and faculty at our Staten Island
campus as we pay tribute to those who lost their lives on that
tragic day.
