When Alumni and friends got together at the Garden City Country
Club, they were there for more than just a day of golf. The
occasion was the Fifth Annual Father Dorr Golf Classic, which began
25 years ago as the Newman Golf Classic and has since raised more
than $3.1 million to support scholarships for St. John's
students.
