Once your media plan has been approved and purchased, content
and specs need to be supplied to your college/department liaison to
be shared with the appropriate Relationship
Managers. University advertising must be created by the Office
of Marketing and Communications to ensure consistency with St.
John’s image and message.
Frequently organizations, businesses or other schools that have
relationships with the University will solicit journal advertising
from a particular area. The Office of the President must authorize
any journal advertising requests. Contact the Office
of Media Relations at 718-990-1621 to receive
authorization and then proceed as indicated above.
Project Request Form
Whether your objective is to increase enrollments or to increase
attendance at an event, planning is critical to reaching your
goals. If you have one project or you are developing a complete
communications plan, first complete a Print and/or Web Project Form
and bring it, and all supporting material, to the marketing liaison
for your school/college or administrative office. He/she will work
directly with the Relationship
Manager team assigned to your area.
Each Relationship Manger team:
- partners with your unit to develop communications strategies to
meet the marketing goals for your identified priorities
- guides development of high quality, high-impact
communications
- finds cost-effective ways to communicate each message
- acts as a liaison with the creative units within Marketing and
Communications
