Biography/Position Statement
During this last year as Treasurer of the Student Government, we
have brought fiscal responsibility back in our institution. As
Chairman of the Finance Committee, we have balanced the budget and
made sure that we know were every one of your dollars is being
spent. We have cut spending by removing waste that did not
perform. By opening up the organization allocations, we have
insured that every organization has an equal and fair chance to
have the best possible events. In order to create better
student leaders, we have held our student organizations accountable
and responsible for their finance.Also, we have built a
relationship with our organizations that have been leading us to
create programs and events to make the Staten Island Campus the
best campus of the St. John’s family. I hope continue this
bond during the 2009 – 2010 academic year.
