Student Government, Inc.

Student Government, Inc. is a corporation elected by the student body, run by the student body, and moderated by campus administration.  Student Government functions as the governing body of all student organizations on campus.  It is a liaison between student organizations and the administration of the University.  Student Government allocates budgets to students organizations and ensures the rules and regulations of the university and are upheld.  Student Government, in conjunction with student union, holds many events on campus encompassing charity, social, and educational events including various public speakers. 

Meetings are open to all students and any concerns they may have should be voiced in this arena.  Student Government officers have specific office hours and can always be found in the Student Government office (Campus Center B13).  Student Government elections are held annually.  Any member of the Staten Island campus student body is welcome to run, provided the student is in good academic standing.

Student Government, Inc. is dedicated to the mission of St. John's University and the overall enhancement of the student experience.
