Student Government

Student Government, Inc. is a corporation run by the student body, moderated by administrators, and elected by peers. Student Government functions as the governing body of all student clubs and organizations on campus; is the voice of the student body; and acts as the liaison to the administration of the University. Student Government is also responsible for allocating budgets to students clubs and organizations and to make certain that all the rules and regulations of the University and Student Government are observed. Student Government, in conjunction with the Student Union, holds many charity, social, and educational events on campus featuring various public speakers. Meetings are open to all students who are welcome to participate in the meetings. Student Government officers have specific office hours in the Student Government office which is located in the Campus Center B13. Student Government holds elections bi-annually and all students in good academic standing are welcome to run for office.
