Faculty
When choosing a graduate program, perhaps the most important factor
to consider is the quality of the faculty. The faculty who teach at
the Rome campus are mainly senior level faculty from the New York
campuses who are dedicated to providing quality education and
training and have actual business and consulting experience.
Students have the unique opportunity to learn and interact with the
professors on an individual basis.
Computer Facilities
Computer and information technology are a fundamental part of the
learning and research experience at the St. John's. Computer
applications are incorporated into the degree programs and all
workstations are equipped with current business applications and
software. The computer facilities give students access to on-line
databases, library resources, electronic mail and other Internet
services.
Students are given a laptop at the beginning of the program
which they can use throughout their studies at the Rome Campus.
With the laptops students will be able to access the network from
anywhere on campus via wireless. Students, once conferred, can
keep their laptops..
Library Facilities
The university supports its international programs through on-site
collections and a variety of on-line services. Commonly used
business periodicals and a modest business collection are housed on
campus. In addition, the campus subscribes to a number of external
databases and on-line services.
Recreational Facilities
The facilities available to students on campus include tennis
courts, basketball courts, soccer fields and an indoor swimming
pool.
Campus Ministry
St. John's University is a Catholic university, and our religious
heritage is a significant part of our distinctive character. Roman
Catholic Mass is celebrated weekly in English and Italian and our
campus chaplain is available during the week for confession and
consultation.
The University has always welcomed students from all faiths and
encouraged them to integrate their religious beliefs into their
personal growth, academic development and community service.
Mass is held every Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. in the Chapel - Rome
Graduate Center.
