The goal of the Listen and Lead “Hot Topics” Series is to provide an opportunity for faculty and students to engage outside the classroom in discussion about “hot topics” and current events that are not normally discussed on campus. Students and faculty members can network and connect in an open dialogue through an informal, respectful, safe and comfortable environment. The events will take place 2x per semester and topics vary based on interest and need from the students. During fall semester, we collaborate with the Freshmen Center to host specific topics that will assist freshmen students.
