Diversity Peer Education

We Make A Difference

Mission
The mission of Diversity Peer Education is to increase diversity awareness, to promote an open campus climate and to support a multicultural appreciation for living.

Ways to Get Involved in Diversity Peer Education
Sponsored by the Department of Student Life, the Diversity Peer Education program is designed to educate and sensitize students to the diversity of the University community.  In order to educate our students about multiculturalism and increase an appreciation for diversity, the Program strives to establish presentations on social justice and diversity issues, such as stereotyping, discrimination, ethnicity, cultural racism, religious prejudice, sexism, ableism, and classism among all people, rather than just promoting one culture, race, and/or religion.
