St. John's and MCU Participate in Distribution of Thanksgiving Holiday Turkeys and Pies 12:00 AM St. John's joined forces with Municipal Credit Union (MCU) last week to help provide those less fortunate with a Thanksgiving Dinner. The "Turkey Day Donation" effort, started by MCU in 2010, distributed turkeys and pies and helped bring a holiday meal to the tables of about 300 Queens families.

St. John's University Introduces New Catholic School Scholarship 12:00 AM St. John’s University  announces a new award for graduates of Catholic high schools nationally to be known as the St. John’s Catholic School Scholarship. This action is taken in response to a recommendation from the Advisory Board of the Institute for Catholic Schools (ICS) at the University.
