STAND will bring together students to work towards an end to the genocide in Darfur, Sudan and will continue to work towards an end to genocide everywhere once the crisis in Darfur ends.Organization's Mission STAND will bring together students to work towards an end to the genocide in Darfur, Sudan and will continue to work towards an end to genocide everywhere once the crisis in Darfur ends. Specifically, it will work to increase consciousness about the crisis in Darfur among fellow students and in the St. John's University community, to raise funds for relief and protection for the victims and displaced, and to advocate for political action to be taken for a swift and sustainable solution to ending genocide.
