Organization’s Mission
To encourage self-directed activity giving maximum opportunity for self-realization and for growth in individual social competency and group effectiveness. Its goal is the development of the complete person both intellectually and socially. Through its various boards, committees and members, it provides a social and recreational program, directed at making free time activity a cooperative factor with studies and education.

Brief Description of the Organization
The focal point of activities is to enrich and to contribute to a more intensified campus life. The Student Programming Board is the community center for all members of the University family. The Student Programming Board represents a well-rounded plan for community life of St. John’s University.

Signature Events
Film Series, Slam Dunk Contest, "Lights Out" Party, Spring Fling, Commuter Appreciation Week

Membership Requirements
G.P.A.: 2.0 at the time of appointment or election (2.5 for Executive Board members)
