“PARTICIPATE 2010” is a
collaborative effort between St. John’s University student
organizations represented by: the St. John’s University College
Democrats, St. John’s University College Republicans, Student
Government, student leaders, faculty, staff and University
administrators all committed to non-partisan voter registration and
increased civic education and engagement in anticipation of the
2010 Election.
The St. John’s University “PARTICIPATE” initiative began in advance
of the historic 2008 Presidential Election. The “PARTICIPATE” campaign is an annual effort
by the University to promote greater civic engagement and to create
better informed and active voters within the community.
