Organization’s Mission
The mission of the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) is to be the collective voice of student pharmacists, to provide opportunities for professional growth, to improve patient care, and to envision and advance the future of pharmacy.
 
Brief Description of the Organization
APhA-ASP is the professional organization for student pharmacists in the U.S. With over 30,000 members across the country, APhA-ASP offers opportunities to travel, network, and learn more about the profession of pharmacy. APhA-ASP offers leadership opportunities at the chapter, regional, and national level, fosters personal and professional growth for its members, and teaches skills that can only be learned by hands-on activities offered outside the classroom. In APhA-ASP, your membership is what you make of it!
 
Signature Events
Back to School BBQ, American Pharmacists Month (APhM) and Live from New York, Pharmacy Day, Healthy Halloween, Midyear Regional Meetings (MRMs) and the APhA Annual Meeting and Exposition, Dress for Success, Career Day, and Patient Care Projects (Operation Diabetes, Operation Immunization, Heartburn Awareness Challenge, and Operation Heart)
 
Membership Requirements
Must be enrolled in the Pharm.D. program and in good academic standing
