Campus Activities - Queens Campus

Campus Activities seeks to compliment the academic experience by providing involvement opportunities that reflect the University's Vincentian and Catholic mission.

Campus Activities is responsible for supporting and guiding student involvement.  The staff and student leaders facilitate personal growth and development by providing a variety of options for participation, service, and leadership in co-curricular activities.

Campus Activities is charged with providing a rich array of programs and activities for commuter and residential students.  The staff and student leaders support numerous programming efforts and services throughout the year, including campus-wide events, trips to New York City, discounted entertainment, and cultural celebrations.

 Students that get involved benefit from enhanced relationships with their peers and other members of the University community.

Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Students will gain a sense of belonging through participation in student clubs and organizations;
  2. Students will develop social growth, analytical and critical thinking skills;
  3. Students will enhance their personal and organizational leadership skills;
  4. Students will learn to co-exist, develop respect for the individual and a responsibility to civility within the University Community;
  5. Students will gain an appreciation for the cultural and performing arts in New York City.
