You will be notified by email to your STJ email
account on Friday, March 22, 2013 to confirm that you have
successfully completed your online housing application and are
eligible to be assigned an appointment time during “Housing
Selection Daze”.
Students are invited to participate during “Housing Selection Daze”
based on priority. Priority is determined by their
pre-calculated housing selection points. An applicants housing
selection points are calculated using points earned based on their
current GPA, student conduct history, and class status. For
those who are eligible to participate in “Housing Selection Daze”
as roommates, suitemates, or apartment-mates your scores will be
averaged together to determine the order of your priority as a
group to participate and select.
Students who failed to submit a housing application by the
deadline or did not complete the online application (incomplete)
are not eligible to continue on in the “Housing Selection Daze”
process. Those students have the option to participate in our
Housing Intent Process which begins May 2, 2013 (housing offers
based on availability) or request a refund of your housing deposit.
Housing deposit refund requests must be made by Thursday, May 1,
2013.
I DID NOT Get an Appointment to “Housing
Selection Daze”!
Continuing student housing spaces are limited and will require
review of every student requesting to continue to reside in
University Housing. Students who make eligibility and
have completed steps 1 and 2, but are not offered a housing
appointment during “Housing Selection Daze”; will automatically be
added to our waiting list. As openings occur, eligible
students will be contacted from the waiting list.
Please note: Being on the waiting list does not guarantee
you a space in housing for Fall Semester 2013 and you should
continue to search for off-campus accommodations.
Students wishing to request to have their housing deposit
returned, will no longer be on the waiting list
and must submit request by May 1, 2013*
*Housing deposit refund requests received after May 1, 2013
by 4:30 p.m. EST will be declined and student will forfeit their
$500.00 housing deposit.
