Where Can I Find Available Apartments/Options?

There are typically hundreds of different apartments/living options available in the New York metropolitan area at any given time.  The main sources for open apartments are print media (i.e. newspapers, magazines) and online services.  Both usually provide housing descriptions and contact information.  An easy way to get an idea of local apartments that may be available at any given time is to leaf through the “Classifieds” section of the local newspapers and/or log onto the internet and type “apartments” into your favorite search engine.  You may also find housing through local realtors and local apartment complexes themselves, though make sure you ask them about their fees.
