Choosing to live on-campus provides students with a unique
opportunity to be involved in the dynamic and diverse setting of
the St. John's experience in the Residential Village. The Office of
Residence Life wants you to feel at home on campus and works hard
to provide you with an optimal living environment.
The
Office of Residence Life offers cost efficient on-campus housing
for St. John's students. We have many halls that offer a variety of
life style choices. They include traditional and suite style
residence halls and apartment buildings. All rooms include basic
cable, utilities and Ethernet connections at no additional cost.
(Coolidge and Goethals Apartments must pay separate for cable,
utilities, and internet).
Incoming freshmen are assigned to a traditional or suite style
Freshman residence hall which maximizes the success of freshman and
enhances the first-year experience. The Freshman Center works
closely with these halls to bring unique opportunities to freshman
residents.
Upper class residents have the opportunity to select from one of
our suite style residence halls. These halls, through programming
and other initiatives, provide environments that promote continued
growth and independence.
