The following is a list of sanctions that St. John’s University may impose following final determination of a sex offense disciplinary hearing:Expulsion from the University – The student will not be allowed to attend class, participate in any St. John’s University programs/events or be on St. John’s University property. Suspension from the University Up to Two Academic Years – The student will not be allowed to attend class, participate in any St. John’s University programs/events or be on St. John’s University property, unless permission to do so is specifically authorized.Trespassed From Residence Village and University Managed Properties – The student will immediately and indefinitely be restricted from the Residence Village, their Storm Card will be deactivated, and they will be restricted from entering any of the University’s residence halls or managed properties. Furthermore, the student will not be able to be present on the grounds of the Residence Village nor loiter outside of any managed properties.Housing Termination (*for resident students*) – The students’ housing contract will be terminated effective immediately. Furthermore, the student will be disqualified from participating in any upcoming Housing Selections and will be ineligible to live on campus in the future.
No Contact Order – The student will be prohibited from making contact with any person(s) listed on a No Contact Order.
