Welcome to St. John's University
To prepare you for your first exciting semester at St. John’s, we hold a special Orientation Program just for you. Your attendance at this event is important to help you have a successful experience in college and thereby attendance is mandatory. The spirit of our Orientation Program reflects St. John’s concern for the holistic development of every student. This spirit is rooted in our 141-year heritage as a Catholic, Vincentian and Metropolitan University. St. John’s offers an education that prepares you for personal and professional success in our global society. When you attend Orientation, you will learn more about the benefits of the St. John’s experience and the many student services available to you, including academic support, career preparation, high-tech resources, extracurricular activities as well as the opportunity to meet new friends and form life-long relationships.
The following pages contain the online component of your mandatory orientation as well as online registration information for the on campus Transfer Nights on either July 14th, August 23rd or August 29th scheduled from 5:00-9:00pm in the D’Angelo Center. This is a four hour on-campus event where you will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with various departments and colleges and participate in information sessions.
Your parents/guardians are invited to attend Transfer Night. They may register by phone at (718) 990-5353. Due to the nature of Orientation, no other guests are permitted.
