Commuter programs are a series of programs designed to create a common place for commuter students to meet, socialize and share issues and concerns.

Commuter Pride Week
A week of fun social and academic programs designed to cater to the needs of commuter students and to celebrate commuter pride. Sponsored by the Commuter Connection Committee and the Student Programming Board. Events open to all undergraduate students.

Commuter Connection Café
Free continental breakfast! Students are able to voice their issues and concerns to Administration and socialize in a commuter friendly environment. Sponsored by the Commuter Connection Committee.

Commuter Welcome Reception
Free continental breakfast and commuter friendly giveaways! Students are given the opportunity to meet other commuter students and are offered useful giveaways. Giveaways range from round trip metro cards, planners, pens, bus/subway maps, NY City Guides, waters bottles, hand sanitizer, first aid kits and more. Sponsored by the Commuter Connection Committee.

Commuter Chats
Once a month during common hour come sound off and enjoy lunch at our NEW "Commuter Chats". We will discuss a variety of topics throughout the semester beginning with “My Crazy Commuter”. Were you ever on a crowded bus or train and the person sitting next to you took up 3 seats, or the car in front of you was dipping in and out of the lane? Whatever your story entails feel free to share it with us during our Commuter Chats. We will also discuss upcoming events and socials.

Commuter 101 Luncheons
Short workshops, hosted during common hour that provides information on topics ranging from time management to apartment hunting. Free lunch and giveaways courtesy of the Commuter Connection Committee!

Mid-day Coffee House Events
Miniature mid-day activities that resemble night-time programming.  Event examples include comedians, hypnotist, novelties, game shows, live performances and so much more.
