Comment: Well, I for one would like to say
that I appreciate the work that has been done. My biggest question
is what is going on with the fitness room and the construction.
When will the construction outside the hall be finished?

Comment: It is wonderful to see the
responsiveness of the university to the students' needs. It's
clearly evident that the construction efforts and all other things
aimed towards campus improvement are a good investment for the
future. Personally, I am especially looking forward to the
rolling-out of the Live@edu email client. Ten gigabytes of space is
more than enough for students, and I believe they will be glad they
chose Saint John's University as a school that will aid their
careers.

Comment: Friday was MY first day of classes.
I had wanted to take the shuttle to kew gardens; so, I looked at
the schedule and it said it departed from gate 6 at 3:35pm, which i
thought was perfect because I get out of class at 3:30pm. Instead,
it departed at 3:30pm; thus, since i arrived at the 3:31, I missed
it. I know the schedule says subject to change, but I literally
missed the bus by 1 minute, watched it pass me, and was
disappointed I had to go all the way back to the bookstore to buy a
metrocard and catch the regular bus. I was just wondering if they
could fix the schedule to correctly represent the time the shuttle
bus will depart.

Comment: Hi Mellisa, My Name is Jackie
Lochrie and I am the Associate Dean for Student Services. Thank you
for your feedback regarding the shuttle. I apologize for the
inconvenience you experienced because the shuttle departed early. I
will follow up with Coach USA, who provides the shuttle service for
our University, and see that the drivers follow the schedule.
Please let me know if you experience any other issues. I rely on
student feedback so your input is valuable. Jackie Lochrie,

Flor Arellano, Senior
Queens Campus
Comment: I lived on the Staten Island campus
for 2 1/2 years and this year I transferred to the Queens campus. I
live in the new townhouses and I feel like I am starting over
again. Queens has been somewhat welcoming and am liking the
collegiate atmosphere more, but it's a hindrance to not be able to
use the library. I hope that it is finished soon! I am excited to
go to more sporting events and keeping in touch with events and the
election through St. John's Central.

Comment: In reference to
Robert Griswold’s comment, we appreciate the patience all of our
students as we complete these renovation projects. The
construction outside of Carnesecca Arena should be finished by
early October.
