SJU selected as CSR Corporate Social Responsibility Honoree
St. John’s was nominated for recognition by Patrick Love of the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability to receive an award at the City & State Reports (“CSR”) Awards Breakfast on Thursday, July 28th. CSR recognizes outstanding corporate citizens for their work in sustainability - from the construction, energy, transportation, and food industries and beyond. The event featured keynote remarks by Daniel A. Zarrilli, Senior Director, Climate Policy and Programs and Chief Resilience Officer, New York City Office of the Mayor. The breakfast event held at New York University also featured a thought leadership panel discussion moderated by KevinV.G. Wells of Nima Hunter on trends in sustainability. Tom Goldsmith, Director of Energy and Environmental Conservation, was instrumental in SJU receiving this award.
