Negative Interest Rates and Implications for Emerging Markets

Project Summary:

This is a research project dealing with topics of international macroeconomics, central bank policy, capital flows. Specific topic of analysis focuses on the negative interest rate policy and its implications for the global economy, mainly emerging markets and capital flows. Please contact via email for further clarification.

Qualifications:

Understanding of macroeconomic policy and theory; solid grasp on current challenges to macroeconomic policy and knowledge of negative interest rate policy stance. Technical training: required: MS Excel / familiarity with any econometric software preferred but not required. Research and organizational skills a must; as well as ability to work on deadline. Major: no requirement, as long as there is interest and some proficiency with the topic.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide assistance with primary data collection; background research; technical analysis; annotated literature review and empirical analysis.
