HR News

This issue of EmployeEnews will be our last. In the fall, we are planning an improved format for communicating employee news and HR information directly on our Human Resources department website. The HR site will highlight employee stories and share HR news and events in a more timely and accessible manner. We will send employees an announcement when we launch this fall!

Students Honored in Employment (SHinE)

Last month, the annual student worker award ceremony was held on the Queens campus. Five students received a SHinE award and 13 semi-finalists were also recognized.

Reminder: Keep Your UIS Profile Up to Date

The Payroll Office wants to ensure that the University has your most current campus and permanent mailing addresses on record. Please check your information for accuracy as soon as possible by either clicking on the Employee Toolbox in UIS or visiting the Employee Profile on MySJU.

The University would also like to ensure that your employee emergency contact information is current. This is critical information needed for communication in the event of a campus-wide emergency. Please call the Payroll Office on the Queens campus at 718-990-6345 with any questions.
