Suicide is a serious public health problem that can have lasting harmful effects on individuals, families, and communities. While its causes are complex and determined by multiple factors, the goal of suicide awareness and prevention is simple: Reduce risk factors and increase factors that promote resilience. In this workshop you will receive guidance on how to identify warning signs and respond proactively and proficiently.  Effective prevention strategies can promote awareness of suicide and encourage a commitment to social change.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
