Over 30 recent graduates gathered at City Ice Pavilion in Long
Island City for a night of food, fun and ice skating as part of the
most recent Young Alumni Seasonal Socials event.

The friendly atmosphere made this a fun winter gathering for all
of the alumni, from first-time skaters to ice-skating regulars.
Some guests had not gone ice skating in years and enjoyed the
opportunity to get back on the ice.
“This event was a great way for me to relive my childhood,” said
Christina Hardial ’06C. “I felt just like a kid again when I
started skating, and I’m so glad I was able to share that
experience with my St. John’s friends.”
In addition to skating, the young alumni had the opportunity to
catch up with one another over pizza and beverages. Guests also
received a St. John’s fleece headband, which many wore as they took
to the ice.
The next Young Alumni event will be a
Happy Hour this Wednesday, January 20, at Manhattan’s trendy
Apotheke. Be sure to check out all of our events throughout the
