St. John's basketball's past and present gathered Thursday at
the North Hempstead Country Club in Port Washington, N.Y., for the
2010 Lou Carnesecca Golf Classic, paying tribute to the Hall of
Fame coach and Dominic Camera '64C. More than 200 friends and
supporters of St. John's were on hand to honor the Hall of Fame
Coach, provide support for the University's athletics program, and
reunite with St. John's and New York City basketball legends.

"It's just a marvelous day," said Carnesecca. "The funds raised
will benefit the University and help in improving facilities. Many
of the attendees know our school and remember our basketball
tradition, and it is a special day for the entire St. John's
basketball family."
