Offering information about the strong connection between St. John’s
University students and alumni, the Student
Alumni Association (SAA) was one of the many groups
participating in the Fall Activities Fair on Thursday, September 9,
2010 on the Great Lawn of the Queens campus. Representatives from
the Office of Alumni Relations were joined by current SAA members
eager to invite prospective students to become a part of this
unique and valuable organization. The SAA provides students
with a chance to be mentored by and network with successful St.
John’s alumni through a variety of Alumni Insider’s
View…Programs.

“This was a great way for students, especially new ones like me, to
get involved and learn what St. John’s has to offer,” said
Nicole Apps ’14Ed, one of the more than 80 students who signed
up to request additional material regarding the SAA. “There were so
many things to see and so many organizations to be a part of, it’s
really obvious that St. John’s has something for everyone.”
