The excitement of the recently completed World Cup Soccer
Championship was in the air as our recent graduates gathered at
Poco Restaurant and Lounge in trendy lower Manhattan on Thursday,
July 22, 2010 for the latest event in St. John’s popular Young
Alumni Happy Hour series. Named Furia Roja after Spain’s National
World Cup team, guests enjoyed a Spanish-inspired menu which
included such unique dishes as skirt steak and cheese lollipops,
lobster macaroni and cheese, crab cakes and Poco sliders. As usual,
the first drink was free, and there were complimentary appetizers
and drink specials throughout the evening.
