Half the Sky is a call to arms against the oppression
of women and girls in the developing world. Pulitzer Prize-winning
authors Nicholas D.
Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn
will report on worldwide human rights violations against women and
offer practical advice to help eradicate this problem through
entrepreneurial and educational programs.
Half the Sky demonstrates how education and economic
empowerment can pave the path to justice and equality for women
worldwide. Consistent with our Vincentian mission, this
inspirational book exhorts us to combat the causes of poverty and
social injustice in our global world.
