Noel A. Card ’02G, ’04Ph.D.

Dr. Noel Card received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from St. John’s University.  He then studied as a postdoctoral fellow in Quantitative Psychology at the University of Kansas. He is currently Associate Professor, Family Studies and Human Development and Assistant Director, Frances McClelland Institute for Children, Youth, and Families in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the University of Arizona.

Card’s research in child and adolescent development, as well as quantitative methodology, has been supported by grants from the National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health, and has led to approximately 80 publications, including inclusions in leading developmental, applied, and quantitative journals. He is currently Associate Editor for the Journal of Developmental Psychology, and is a regular member of NSF and NIH grant review panels. His research and professional contributions have been recognized by an Early Research Contributions Award from the Society for Research in Child Development and by his election to Fellow status in Division 5 of the American Psychological Association.
