Dr. Jeffrey J. Froh received both his M.S. and Psy.D. in School Psychology from St. John’s University in 2004. He is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology at Hofstra University, with his primary responsibilities in the Psy.D. Program in School-Community Psychology. One of the leading scholars in Positive Youth Psychology, his research, which has been featured in mainstream media such as The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post, focuses on the well-springs, assessment, outcomes and enhancement of gratitude in children and adolescents. He is a past Associate Editor of The Journal of Positive Psychology and the co-author of Activities for Teaching Positive Psychology: A Guide for Instructors and Making Kids Grateful: A Scientific Approach to Helping Youth Thrive. His research has been funded by the John Templeton Foundation.
