Charles R. Fox, Ph.D. ’74C, ’77G

Dr. Charles R. Fox received his M.A. in Experimental Psychology from St. John’s University. He is currently Dean and Professor at Worcester State University School of Humanities and Social Sciences. He earned his Ph.D. from Brandeis University and received postdoctoral fellowships from the Fight for Sight Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.  He also holds an O.D. from the New England College of Optometry and has been a Veterans Affairs Medical System Resident in rehabilitation.

Fox is a national consultant to higher education, health care institutions and government on project management, fundraising, program development and assessment, faculty/staff development and ethics. His work has been recognized through various awards including the J. Warren Perry Distinguished Author Award (2008, Journal of Allied Health), the Kansas Health Ethics Organizational Award of Honor (2007), the Medical Book Publishers Association Honorable Mention for Best New Book (1993) and the VAMC Outstanding Merit Citation (1992).
