The alumni and friends of St. John’s University have always
recognized the need to provide scholarship assistance to the
University’s most deserving students. They know that many of
these students come to St. John’s from families bearing the burden
of financial hardship, and that without financial assistance their
dream of achieving a St. John’s education would remain forever
unfulfilled.
Make plans to spend an early autumn day of golf at the Engineers
Country Club on Long Island. All proceeds will be used to
support the Long Island Alumni Golf Outing Scholarship Fund.
A highlight of every Alumni Golf Outing is the honoring of a St.
John’s University alumnus who has made significant personal and
professional contributions to society since leaving alma
mater. This year’s honoree is Paul J. Reilly '79CBA who
currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial
Officer at Arrow Electronics, Inc.
