Many couples have met and fallen in love at St. John’s
University over the years. Whether they sat next to each
other in class or met at a social event on campus, their stories
are both heartwarming and unique. College Couples, as they are
affectionately called at the University, have a special
relationship with St. John’s and we are happy to recognize the
strong ties that were formed here.
On Saturday, February 14, 2009, College Couples were honored at
a special Blessing of the Couples Mass in St. Thomas More Church on
the Queens campus. More than 100 couples came to receive a
special blessing for their marriages given by Rev. Kevin G. Creagh,
C.M. '91SVC, '04PD, Associate Vice President for International
Sites, Alumni Chaplain, at the University.
