On Thursday, November 9, 16 students from the Economics and
Finance Society of The Peter J. Tobin College of Business of St.
John’s University visited the midtown Manhattan headquarters of
Alliance Bernstein, a major asset management firm. The event was
arranged and hosted by Charles Menges, CFA ‘66MBA, and offered the
students practical advice relating to careers in the financial
services profession. Discussion leaders and presenters
included Mr. Menges and other members of Bernstein’s Private Wealth
Management Group.
The students thoroughly enjoyed their visit, and were
particularly grateful to Mr. Menges for his valuable career advice
and frank discussion concerning the realities of life within the
fast paced world of business.
St. John’s University would like to thank Mr. Menges for hosting
this event, and for his ongoing support of the University and its
students. He will deliver the keynote address at our "Day on
Wall Street" on Thursday, November 16 at 5 p.m.
