Scrimmage
More than 20 men’s soccer alumni returned to St. John’s for a
friendly scrimmage in Belson Stadium at the Queens campus on August
18. The group, whose members spanned over 30 years of St. John’s
soccer history, participated in this long-standing tradition at the
University.

28th Annual Staten Island Golf Outing a
Success
An early morning rainstorm didn’t dampen the spirits of golfers at
the 28th Annual Staten Island Golf Outing held at the South Shore
Country Club on July 18. More than 75 St. John’s University alumni
and friends braved the severe weather to play 18 holes of golf and
raise funds for the Sipp/DeStefano Scholarship Fund to benefit

The threat of rain didn’t stop some members of the Loughlin Society

An All-American collegiate player, Hall of Fame coach and one of
the founding fathers of the BIG EAST Conference, John W. "Jack"
