Black Alumni Association Event

The St. John's University Black Alumni Association (BAA) held an autumn get-together in Brooklyn on Saturday, October 7 from 6 - 10 pm, hosted by Jared McCallister ‘89SVC. Co-hosting the event were Teresa Mason ‘79SVC and Colonel Terrance R.C. Holliday SAF/PAY '68SJC, the current president of the BAA. Over 75 alumni and friends gathered for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and four hours of jazz played by the Jeff King Band, featuring saxophonist Jeff King and vocalist Greg Porter.

All who attended expressed support for alma mater and their desire to continue the BAA tradition with future events and new scholarship initiatives. View photos of the event by clicking on the thumbnail images below.
