Six finalists will be competing for $15,000 in cash
prizes. They will present their plans to a panel of Alumni judges.
We received over 50 impressive and creative new business plans,
many of which will be on display in our Business Plan Expo on the
morning of April 17, 2010 in the D’Angelo Center on the Queens
campus.
Budding entrepreneurs will display their plans at their own
tables, where they may be examined by anyone with an interest in
seeing some new ideas that may soon make their way into the
marketplace.
The Business Plan Expo runs from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30
p.m. Angie
Onassis Parlionis ’01C, ’06MBA, founder of YoYo Lip Gloss, will
be the keynote speaker at lunch.
Cash prizes will be awarded as follows:
First place prize - $6,000
Second place prize - $4,000
Third place prize - $3,000
Fourth place prize - $2,000
