Acknowledging the important role that teachers play in our society, alumni and friends gathered on the Queens, Staten Island and Oakdale campuses to recognize the achievements of some of the regions most outstanding educators and educational administrators. St. John’s University has been producing exceptional teachers since 1908, and so it comes as no surprise that many of the award recipients were St. John’s graduates. Alumni honored at these events included: Robert Dillon '74C, '90Ed.D., Angela Ferrando '81GEd, Maureen Enright Flood ’67Ed, ’72GEd, Gary Giordano '84CBA, '87MBA, Stephen C.
