The Thrill is Back
It was a season of renewed excitement as the Red Storm
men’s basketball team brought fans to their feet and returned
St. John’s to a level of national prominence reminiscent of the
glory days of old. Midway through the season, following thrilling
victories over nationally ranked opponents, students began poking
good natured fun at Head Coach
Steve Lavin’s California roots by dubbing their cheering
section “Lavinwood”.
