Our Students Give…Because You Do

For many people, the holiday season is the time for giving.

For our inspired St. John’s students, making a difference for others is an everyday activity. They have learned the importance of reaching out to others in the community without ever looking at a calendar.

It’s the start of a lifelong commitment that makes the world a better place for us all.

However, much of this would be impossible without the support of our generous donors. In simplest terms, our students can give to others because you give to us.

Students Serve up Thanksgiving Cheer
“Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference,” said Liz D’Orsa ’13Ed, a sister of Theta Phi Alpha Sorority who, along with a group of other St. John’s fraternity and sorority members and student-athletes, came together on the days before Thanksgiving to bake 300 pies for distribution to charities within the community.
