The Loughlin Society

John Loughlin, the first Bishop of Brooklyn, called upon the Vincentians to establish a Catholic college to provide a quality education for the children of immigrants who did not have access to the benefits of higher education.

Members of the Loughlin Society celebrate his legacy by contributing a leadership gift of $1,000 or more toward any University fund during our fiscal year, which falls between June 1 and May 31. The Loughlin Society, with 1,275 members this year, is built upon a solid foundation of support that inspires our students to excel and our donors to give generously.

Membership levels include:

  • Benefactors’ Council: $25,000+
  • Trustees’ Circle: $10,000+
  • President’s Cabinet: $5,000+
  • University Fellow: $2,500+
  • President’s Club: $1,000+

In addition to special recognition in the annual Honor Roll of Donors, Loughlin Society members receive VIP seating at on-campus events and invitations to special events held throughout the year.
