Looking to make a difference at St. John’s University? Here’s a
great way to do it!
Named in honor of John Loughlin, the first Bishop of Brooklyn,
The Loughlin Society is St. John’s leadership giving society. Its
members want to ensure that St. John’s will always be able to
provide deserving students with a superior, affordable
education.
Members of The Loughlin Society are the University’s most
generous donors. Their gifts support such important priorities as
student scholarships, academic programming, upgraded campus
facilities, enhanced technology and faculty research.
Membership
You can become a member of The Loughlin Society by
contributing gifts totaling $1,000 or more toward any University
fund between June 1 and May 31. You’ll be joining an exclusive
group of over 2,000 alumni and friends who have chosen to
support St. John’s in a very special way.
Depending upon the amount of your gift, your membership in The
Loughlin Society will fall into one of the following
categories:
- Benefactors’ Council: $25,000+
- Trustees’ Circle: $10,000+
- President’s Cabinet: $5,000+
- University Fellow: $2,500+
- President’s Club: $1,000+
- Special Membership Categories
Recent St. John’s graduates are invited to participate in The
