Supported by a generous grant from Elizabeth Gavin '65Ed, the
Gavin Lectures are designed to bring to the University outstanding
scholars in the field of education and those whose writings and
research support the University's mission. The three lectures
during 2008-09 will respond to the theme of "Faith in the
University." Since there are many interpretations of this
idea, the series promises to be quite exciting.
