The Asia-Pacific Alumni Association members are dedicated to
serving alumni, students and faculty of the University through the
celebration, support and recognition of their heritage. Since their
initial meeting in September 2003, members have initiated programs
and sponsored events in the U.S. and throughout the Asia-Pacific
region to increase involvement with St. John’s.
Mission
The mission of the Asia-Pacific Association shall be to enhance the
presence and experiences of Asian-Pacific and non-Asian-Pacific
members of the University including students, faculty and alumni,
resulting in global outreach and cultural diversification for the
University.
Statement of Purpose
With one voice, the Asia-Pacific Alumni Association members support
the goals, objectives and Vincentian mission of the University
by:
- Networking for Asian-Pacific graduates
- Enhancing participation with college alumni associations
- Providing alumni support to current Asian-Pacific students
through mentoring, internships and the Count On Alumni for Career
Help (COACH) program
- Supporting the University Asia-Pacific Heritage Month
activities
- Assisting the University in achieving its commitment to the
education and celebration of the cultural diversity among our
Asia-Pacific students, faculty, administration and alumni
