Geraldine Gillio graduated from Notre Dame College in 1961 with
a B.A. in History. She is a retired teacher who currently serves as
Co-President of the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of New Jersey.
In addition to working as a teacher, Geraldine volunteered to serve
in the Peace Corps from 1966-1968. She received a number of awards
and accolades throughout her career, including being named a Woman
of Achievement in Jersey City, NJ and being chosen as the
International Institute of NJ Volunteer of the Year. She remains
connected to St. John’s by donating to scholarships and attending
class reunions.
